In the same way that gold and silver are refined by fire, the Lord purifies your heart by the tests and trials of life.

                      Proverbs 17:3 (TPT)

I'm an "Accidental" Author

I planned to be an attorney, not an author. But God had other plans. Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”

One moment, I was a vibrant, driven woman running a legal practice; the next, I was fighting for basic functions as full-body pain shattered my world. My career crumbled, my confidence disappeared, and my family life felt like it was slipping through my fingers. I chased healing with the same tenacity I brought into my legal practice—relentlessness. But every solution failed… until Christ showed me true healing can only be found in Him.

Years later, Christ guided me to write my memoirs, Journey Derailed: Is Your Hope for Healing Tied to a Diagnosis, an Expected Outcome, a Cure, or to Christ?,  revealing how God met me in my brokenness and led me to a physical and a spiritual breakthrough. That book opened the door to Broken Chapters: 21 Testimonies of How God Rewrites Our Life Stories, a powerful multi-author book where I share how God called me into homeschooling, a seemingly impossible task, at the worst possible time due to pain, for endless blessing to my family, and healing for my soul. Most recently, my husband, Al, and I co-authored a soon-to-be-released book and companion workbook, Sex Is God’s Idea: Expose the Lies, Embrace God’s Truth, and Experience Explosive Intimacy, a raw and hope-filled exploration of intimacy, marriage, and the lies so many Christian couples silently carry.

I never planned to be a writer, but now I write to remind others: God doesn’t waste anything. He’s never finished writing your story.
